Caraval Pet Products was started in the mid 1980's by Al and Carol Valentine. Carol was looking for a way to keep her Shitzhu's mouths clean during the many dog shows they competed in throughout the year. Al seeing the problem began designing a way for small dogs to keep their faces clean while drinking water. What was born was the Pet Water Stand. It was portable, easy to clean and maintain, and worked beautifully at keeping the many champion dogs that Carol bred clean and satisfied. As they traveled from show to show so many dog owners wanted one of their Pet Water Stands that Al patented the design and created Caraval Pet Products. They traveled from show to show selling their stands at dog shows across the country. Al passed on in 2007 and his oldest son Kevin has been making the stands ever since. Each PWS is built individually by hand with care and precision. "No more wet faces and stinky water bowls with this water stand. I have two cats, one short-haired exotic Persian and one long-haired Persian. My long-haired Persian named Spot would always have a wet beard that smelled and it was probably unhygienic. I taught them to drink out of a water bottle and never could find a water bottle that was free-standing. This stand is attractive, easy to clean and serves the purpose.
